University of Florida Piano Studies

Dr. Jasmin Arakawa is Assistant Professor of Piano and Piano Area Coordinator at the University of Florida. Located in Gainesville, Florida, University of Florida is a comprehensive research university, and is one of the top-10 public universities (ranked #8 in the 2019 U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges).

UF School of Music offers a variety of degree tracks ranging from performance major to dual degree program for undergraduate level, and Master’s and Doctoral programs at the graduate level.

Audition Requirements:

Perform from memory the fast movement of a sonata of Beethoven, Mozart or Haydn, plus at least two additional contrasting works in contrasting styles. Sight reading.
